What’s going on at Civil Service Live?

July 2nd, 2009

Civil Service Live is full of exciting sessions and speakers to feed your mind, but Civil Service Live is by no means just about the sessions; make sure you leave enough time to vist the exhibition areas.

Come to the Origins and Destinations exhibit on the ground floor and explore the history of the Civil Service, take the 1855 entrance exam and see where we’re heading.

Or visit the interactive Innovation Space created by the COI on the same floor. You can vote for your favourite innovations on our cool wall, share your thoughts on the graffiti wall, play with the new interactive Microsoft surface and have your say filmed and podcasted from the stand.

Being inspired doesn’t mean you have to stay seated and take notes! We want you to participate and be an integral part of the event too.

Trust me – I’m a civil servant

June 30th, 2009

Come to Civil Service Live and hear Alex Allan’s take on how the proposed constitutional changes will affect us, as civil servants and as citizens. What can we do to promote trust in the services we provide?

Alex, Chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee in the Cabinet Office, will have a unique and interesting view to share.
